Neither field is a version number or a description of changed features. The official page also shows an upcoming boss event. PCGamesN reports that codes may accompany updates, milestones or bug fixes, without a fixed schedule. No feature changelog was found in the linked official fields.

A community updates page uses the label “Blasting Off” and says it comes from PGG notes, not from an official version string. I am not promoting that label to a patch name. The write-up of the 8 October check is the 8 October status note. Boss timing is on bosses.

Questions people ask

Is there an official version number?

No. The games API returns created and updated timestamps. It does not return a patch version. I will not invent v1.2 style numbers.
