Beginner Tips That Hold Up
Sources checked
I read three tip pages that repeat each other almost line for line, so I am keeping only the points they share and skipping the padded paragraphs. None of them attach these tips to an official Roblox post. Treat them as crowd practice from early October 2026.
The shared advice
- Move before you worry about perfect aim. Standing still is how a fast monkey reaches you.
- Prioritize fast enemies when they threaten your escape. If one is distant but a heavy enemy blocks the only exit, briefly clearing the obstacle can be the better choice.
- Walk the group into a pile before you use an area attack. A grenade on a line of monkeys wastes the blast.
- Do not finish a wave with your back in a dead end. The map page explains why those tiles are the worst ground.
- Plan Gems for lobby unlocks and upgrades between runs. Keep in-run Cash for weapons, health and abilities; do not assume Gems and Cash are interchangeable.
What I would ignore
I would ignore any tip that quotes a damage number, a hidden gem cap, or a “best class” without saying where the number came from. Those figures live on one wiki and are marked unconfirmed on weapons and classes. The first-session order, which is a different question from these habits, is on how to play.

Questions people ask
What should I buy first?
Guides say to take free lobby rewards and the official MONKEYS code before spending gems. Exact upgrade prices beyond a few wiki-only figures are not confirmed here.
